THE KING and I
Mens Health This morning I read the sad news that Eddy Jordan has died of Prostrate Cancer. And it made me think it´s about time men woke up to this problem, so I decided to write the following in the hope it will help others. As most of you know by now I have a few health issues, and for quite a while I have been trying to sort them out. The first one to be sorted was my Prostrate, it was a…

👉 Early signs of prostate disease may include frequent urination (especially at night), a weak or interrupted urine flow, difficulty starting or stopping urination, pain or burning during urination, and sometimes blood in urine or semen. These symptoms should not be ignored, as they could indicate an underlying prostate condition such as an enlarged prostate, prostatitis, or even prostate cancer. If you notice any of these issues, it’s important to consult a urologist promptly for proper evaluation and timely treatment. Consult our urologist and prostrate cancer specialist in Vidyasagar CHS Navi Mumbai—early detection saves lives.

Tom Wray at Illinois Eagle:
SPRINGFIELD – HB2350, which requires insurance companies to cover transgender healthcare, went into effect on Jan. 1.  The bill amended the Accident and Health Article of the Illinois Insurance Code to require companies to cover pap smears and prostrate screenings for all people and not limit it to gender. It was passed in 2023 and signed into law in June 2023 by Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D).
It passed on a mostly party-line vote with the Democratic supermajority carrying it through. The bill had been very unpopular with the GOP, especially on the far-right. That seems to have raised its head as the law went into effect.  Illinois Review, a far-right online publication that has gotten retweeted by President-elect Donald Trump, has been criticizing Illinois House Minority Leader Toni McCombie (R-Savanna) for her vote two years ago. She was one of just three Republicans to cross the aisle and vote for the bill.
According to the Review, McCombie has claimed her vote was just about cancer screening and prevention, which it is. The bill expanded access to cancer screening for all people. The Review also accurately reported that the bill expanded coverage for trans and non-binary people. They also reported that expansion was why the vast majority of the Illinois House Republicans voted against it.
#HB2350, a law that requires insurance companies to cover gender-affirming care in Illinois, has now taken effect as of January 1st.
Far-right outrage peddlers such as the Illinois Review, Awake Illinois, and Darren Bailey responded to this news with unhinged anti-trans hate. #Twill

BRF Reading - 7th of February, 2024
This is speculation only
Cards drawn on the 6th of February, 2024
Question: What will the next three months hold for King Charles, after his diagnosis with cancer?
Note: i did not use any reversals in this reading - I just could not cope with seeing a reversed card.
Tumblr media
Interpretation: He will be relying heavily on Queen Camilla and The Prince William for support.
Card One: The Seven of Wands
The Seven of Wands is a card of conflict, standing your ground, and defending your boundaries. It is the last energy that comes through the card in this reading. King Charles is going to have to spend a lot of time defending the boundaries that he has set repeatedly.
Wands can be PR, and I think this setting and defending will happen via PR, as we have seen already - Harry starts his "I have to go to the UK, I am a Counsellor of State, the BRF need me back" PR and the palace releases the news that the King will be working from home and no counsellors of state have to be appointed. This is going to happen again over the next three months - the Harkles (or someone else) will push a boundary or put out untrue PR, and the King will have to defend his position by shutting them down.
This could also be happening internally - for example, advisors asking if the King is well enough to deal with x or y and the King repeatedly saying that he is fine to deal with it, no other person will be necessary.
In the latter case I think it is done out of concern, in the former it is the Harkles trying to use his illness to boost their image, but either way the King is going to have to stand firm and defend his position from other people.
Card Two: The King of Cups
This is the King as a person and not as a monarch. It appears above the Queen of Cups, which can represent his wife. This tells me that the King's marriage and the support of his wife are going to be important to him in the next three months ( I almost typed the King's support of his wife - I need to check in with Queen Camilla and see what is happening with her).
As a general situation and not a person, the King of Cups shows a balance between mind and heart, feeling your emotions but not letting them overwhelm you or rule you, devotion, and emotional wisdom.
The energy of this card is of someone (the King) who needs to take this time to connect to and express his emotions in whatever form that takes for him. It is saying to me that it is alright to be scared, it is alright to be worried about death and what happens to your family and after you die, it is alright to want to continue to be the monarch while you are ill, but (and it is a big but) you need to express these emotions in some way and not suppress them, and you need to learn it is OK to let things go and to give yourself the rest/peace/environment you need to recover. I am also getting that there is grief over his parents death that still needs to be expressed and processed.
Another energy from this card is of being slightly overwhelmed. I think His Majesty might find that he is not as capable of working from home as he thought he would be, and that he needs more rest than what he thought he would. The message to him is to ask for help if he feels overwhelmed and not to try and do more than his current state of health allows (i.e. take it easy and do not push yourself).
Card Three: The Three of Wands
The Three of Wands is a card of plans being carried out successfully, seeing your ships come in, looking ahead, and growth. It is also my card for a regency and the passing on of royal power to the heir.
The energy from this card is of a transfer of power to the heir - a planned transfer of power. Part of this is Prince William currently performing some of his father's duties while his father recovers from his prostrate procedure. Another part is looking to the future, and that energy says that if the King feels overwhelmed by his duties during his recovery then we may see a temporary regency behind the scenes, where Prince William takes on more of his father's duties behind the scenes. Depending on how the King recovers, this regency may become permanent, and in a worst case situation the King will hand all of his duties over to his heir and retire/abdicate.
I can't see the King abdicating in the next three months unless his health goes downhill suddenly. What I can see is a temporary allocation of duties to Prince William that may becoming permanent and that may develop into more as the year goes on. It all depends on the health of the King and of the Queen, as I can't see King Charles continuing his duties if something is seriously wrong with Queen Camilla.
Underlying Energy: The Queen of Cups
This is the card for Cancer, and I am getting two energies from it - Queen Camilla and Prince William. The King is going to be relying heavily on them both during the coming three months.
The dominant energy here is of Queen Camilla. King Charles is going to be relying on her during his recovery. He will be relying on her support to heal, both her emotional support and her opinion of current events and what he should do about them. I see him leaning very strongly on his wife to help him recover and to do his work during this time.
The secondary energy is of Prince William. The energy here is of relief and gratitude. The King knows he can rely on Prince William to help him by undertaking some of his duties and that he can rely on Prince William to step down when the King is ready to take up those duties again. He is relieved that he has Prince William to support him as his heir and he is thankful that Prince William won't be undermining him or trying to consolidate power against him etc during the time Prince William undertakes the duties of the King. I'm getting a strong feeling of relief and even a bit of 'thank goodness it is William and not Harry'.
Conclusion
The King is going to rely strongly on Queen Camilla and Prince William during this time. He will use Queen Camilla as a support in his day to day life, and he will hand the duties he can not perform, for whatever reason, over to Prince William, knowing that the duties will be safe in the hands of his heir and that his heir will return said duties to him when he is well enough to undertake them again. Queen Camilla will be his main support for this period.
There is a distinct possibility that Prince William will become a behind-the-scenes regent in the future, and a more distant possibility of the King resigning and leaving the job of monarch to his heir (if so, I think this will happen later than three months). All power transfers will be planned so they go as smoothly as possible.
Unfortunately, this will not be a time of peace for the King. He will have to constantly defend his boundaries against the encroachment of others via PR and half truths/twisted truths. The Harkles will be the main offenders in this area, but there is the possibility of others (*cough*Prince Andrew*cough*) doing something as well.

i should’ve included harold macmillan’s anecdote about waking up in hospital after resigning and going in for surgery for prostrate cancer in my webweave about prime ministers. ‘there was a telephone by my bed. i got to sleep in the afternoon after this ordeal, and i heard a fellow knocking about in the room. i said ‘what are you doing?’ he says, ‘it’s the post office man, come to take away your telephone. you’re not entitled to a telephone.’ i said, ‘to hell— i was the prime minister two hours ago. you might leave it a bit.’ ‘no,’ he said, ‘that’s the rule.’ so that was the end of my power.’

I miss times when the words woman and man meant something. Now you have to say female and male instead. You can't say "women get pregnant" because it's transphobic. You can't say "men getting prostrate cancer" because how dare you not mention trans women you hateful piece of shit. You can't use these words anymore. But even when you say females and males people will claim that they actually went from male to female or female to male. Do we need to invent new words that will mean actual physical sex which cannot be changed? Can words actually mean things once again? Pls?

Am I missing something with the “Queen Mother” Camilla PR? Do we/does he feel that KCIII’s days are numbered? Both KCIII parents lived to their late 90s and by all accounts his (older) wife has less healthy habits than he does. My grandfather was diagnosed with prostrate cancer in his 70s and died from something completely unrelated 25 years later. Why does Charles expect her to remain after him?
You are, because the original conversation was not about Charles's plan for Camilla after he goes. It was about Charles plan for Camilla's overall PR branding as Queen since 2020ish.
In that conversation (I'll link it below), an anon said they felt Charles was modeling Camilla's PR on Kate's and Carole's brands and I disagreed, saying it felt like he was modeling her PR on the Queen Mother's brand (beloved elderly grandmother to the nation who sacrificed retirement for duty-type stuff).
(That conversation did turn into a 'well, what does a Dowager Queen Camilla's role look like' discussion but it was separate from the original question.)
I went back through all the posts and tagged it all camilla, if you want to check out the whole discussion since the dashboard sometimes doesn't show all the posts, or even in chronological order.

why are TIMs not advocating for "people w prostates" and "ppl w testicles" language too? cuz isn't that also "misgendering"? (maybe im misunderstanding the point of ur post though. like I get that they call "ppl w cervixes" inclusivity, and by them not doing it w men too, it's a double standard. is it abt controlling women, and how we identify ourselves as a group? I don't fully understand what their goal is for this "inclusivity" to be one way?
again, maybe im j misunderstanding the point of your post but I don't get -- if its abt being inclusive of misgendering -- it doesn't apply to both?
or is it not directly TIMs and instead like cis-identified males only caring abt using "inclusive" language when it doesn't interfere w what they want to do (call themselves men too and not "ppl w prostates")?
it j feels weird being yelled at all day (I'm exaggerating ofc) abt girldick, so why would TIM be okay w other stuff being j called men? (I'm assuming they are not okay w it, but I see it doesn't matter practically as people are still saying men and then "ppl w cervixes")
sorry for the long ask!! thanks for your help!
Ding ding ding. Yes this is a lesser discussed point. The double standard is proof that it is not about being invalidated or inclusivity. TIMs know that they are men and know that “men should be screened for prostrate cancer” applies to them. They whine about everything from not being included in period campaigns to individual lesbians not letting them rape her. They don’t complain about being included in men’s health because they don’t actually care abt inclusivity they just want to insert themelsves into women’s spaces. Not to mention, they have never had barriers to healthcare because of their sex so they don’t care. Removing the word women from medical language is about further breaking down the category and meaning of “women” and making it harder for us to organize and talk about our issues. That’s it.
TIMs hate the idea that there are some (now, very few) spaces and resources that are not and will never be accessible to them. The last remaining one is gynecology and obstetrics. That is why they have this campaign against “Women’s Health” as a field. As someone pursuing graduate education in the field yeah my degree is still called Women’s Health and Midwifery but in most academic spaces we do this stupid dance around language. My undergraduate women’s health journal changed to “gender minority to health” and said I couldn’t use a picture of a uterus with my article about childbirth because it’s exclusive. This is actually why I left. In a country where more women die every year from complications of birth, “activists” are campaigning to make it harder to discuss and research women’s healthcare. Soon it will be practically impossible to talk about women’s health at all. A few years ago when the gender movement had a shred of common sense the rhetoric was include trans women in everything except for women’s health because obviously that doesn’t apply to them. Unless people start speaking up in a few years they will probably rename the discipline entirely. TIMs are now showing up to OBGYN offices/clinics expecting to have their “neos” treated because “it’s practically the same.” I can assure you they are not and regular women’s health providers do not have training to provide care for those surgical creations. Anyway that’s my rant.

I really think Charles will be okay.
I don’t wanna sound cruel and I genuinely hope he is doing ok and will be ok but I personally think its less serious that they are letting it be known. They super exaggerated his prostate as well. A cancer can be a basocelular carcinoma as well, which is nothing practically.
I thought the prostrate reveal was TMI, but heck what do I know. PP was right about one thing, once you let the press in, you can't let them out. The likes of Piers Morgan and are now demanding that Charles reveal what type of cancer he has.
